What I find odd is how often my dreams incorporate real facts.

Last night, I dreamed I went out to dinner with Paris Hilton and some unidentified person who, in the dream, was a very close friend of mine. It came out to $150 each, and I had to call my mom and ask her to drop some money in my bank account because I only had (have) $76 in it.

Either this is a corollary to me planning to ask for Mom's credit card to buy a permanent account, or I need to quit eating granola right before bed.

I need to use this icon more. It's the best one I've ever made, I think.

How To Survive A Boyband Hiatus...

1) When your boyband releases an album that it doesn't intend to follow up for several years, pick out one song that you don't like that much.
2) Habitually skip that song. Do not listen to it past the first few notes for approximately four years.
3) On your way to work, at the beginning of fuskeez's Summer of NSYNC Love, decide that you're going to use the drive to work, your lunch break, and the drive home to listen to that entire album again.
4) Listen to the song you skipped all the way, and realize not only is it awesome, but you can TOTALLY HEAR CHRIS, AND THEY ALL SOUND SO GOOD, AND OMG HOW DID I MISS THIS, SQUEE SQUEE SQUEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
5) Put song on loop for the rest of the afternoon and burble incoherently about how much you love them.

It's even simpler than it sounds! Y'all should try it!

Behind door number 1, we have a long weekend in Chicago. A Cubs game, which I've never been to. Bumming around with Erin, which is always overdue starting the day I go home. Lance to look at, at the very least. The "someone's not coming" buzz is still there, but Lance is confirmed, and the odds of tripping over him drunk in the Grove one weekend really aren't in my favor. Quite possibly all of NSYNC, together. Quite possibly my last possible chance to see it. If they ever tour again, they'll DAMN sure hit Jackson, but I don't even wanna bet on that right now. We also have an opportunity to meet large handfuls of my friends list at once. Did I mention Erin? And a Cubs game?

So having eaten a big horrible meal earlier I had a major carb-crash around 10:30 -- coincidentally, just as I was coming down off my Focalin from a calculus binge. Of course, I've got an 8 AM final on Wednesday, and I've been meaning to fix my sleep schedule. So I took the given opportunity and bundled up in bed, dropping off fairly quickly. I woke up content and feeling refreshed, not exactly bright-eyed or bushy-tailed, but well awake enough to handle myself.

Unfortunately, I woke up 15 minutes ago.

So I got up to check email, get the restlessness shaken off, and generally try and start over. It better work, is all I'm saying. I don't mind staying up late but I'm really sick of not getting up and going until 1 in the afternoon. Plus the only thing that can keep me from making that econ final my bitch is some serious sleep deprivation the night before, and I am NOT going to let that happen.

So... goodnight. Again.

So I got into a flame war (idiot me for forgetting to hide my email address) with some random idiot who thinks that the growing Hispanic population is an indicator of the "genocide and ethnic cleansing" of white people. And tried to tell me the Holocaust never happened. Now I get to put together my entire Bus 271 presentation with, apparently, no input whatsoever from the rest of my group members. I only actually need to get something from one person, but I emailed them to no avail. I have their numbers, but God, I hate calling people on the phone. I really do. I wish I could explain why. And I told my group two or three times to PLEASE check their email more often so we can keep in better touch on this, but... rrrgh.

And I just woke up, and I was going to get back on my diet today, but I'm lazy and there's cold pizza here. Ugh. Just ugh.

Anyone who can get me Lance and Joey's clip from Robot Chicken in a form other than .avi, as my stupid computer won't play it, can have my firstborn named after them.

I'm still terribly bored, but meh. Just another Friday night without jack shit to do. I'll live.

So yesterday sucked a lot, and today is awesome and happy, except that I have randomly abandoned my songficbunny for the reunion challenge, which means I need an entirely new idea which is due in 10 days. Which is, coincidentally, the day before my major presentation for Business Communication.

If anyone has a lightly-used plot bunny that they wouldn't mind tossing at me, I'd be grateful.
